Food and wine have always been my passion together with travel. Combining the three is indeed one of the pleasures of life. Friends always seem to come to me for recommendations on where to eat, what wineries to visit and in general I seem to have the knack of remembering what I have eaten at a particular restaurant even if some years have gone by.
But as years go by, sometimes I end up forgetting the place or the restaurant name and then it gets extremely frustrating as I try to track back some of the best meals or experiences in particular places.
A case in point was a recommendation to a restaurant near the Amalfi coast a few months ago. Indeed this was the restaurant in which our son, still four months old, showed a real interest in solid food. The place was called Lo Scoglio in Nerano but it took me at least half an hour to finally track it down on the internet. So I have now resolved to restart this blog since it has been rather sporadic in the first instance to keep track of places I have been too and enjoyed, wines that I enjoy tasting, a repository of food related websites, recipies and articles.
And enclosed the link to the restaurant in Nerano. My mouth waters remembering the Pasta allo Scoglio and the Pasta ai frutti di mare we tasted there.
